HDS DECKING SCREW WITH DRILL TIP FOR HIDDEN INSTALLATION, STAINLESS ACID-RESISTANT A4

With the ESSVE Hidden Decking System (HDS), you can build decks completely free from visible screw heads. Stylish, simple, and perfect for bare feet! The HDS Decking Screw A4 with drill tip is designed for hidden installation in standard pressure-treated decking, as well as Siberian larch and other wood types in highly exposed environments.

The drill tip makes installation especially smooth in end grain and around knags – areas where the risk of splitting is otherwise greater.

The screw is installed through the side of the decking board using a mounting tool and a specially adapted bit. HDS screws are compatible with both the HDS Pro Tool and the older version of the tool known as the HDS Mounting Tool 110–150.

The screw is made of stainless acid proof steel A4. The arrow shaped point minimises the risk of splintering and reduces the drive-in torque. There is also a thread below the head that creates a high clamping force between the decking board and the supporting joist, the cylindrical head gives a barely visible entry hole. The screw is fitted with TX-bit drive and conforms to the CE requirement set out in EN14592.
