WOOD SCREW C-PT COUNTERSUNK HEAD PARTIAL THREAD

ESSVE Wood screw C-PT is primarily intended for large screw connections with long screws in mass timber, for instance CLT, glulam, LVL etc. where a high clamping force between two timber elements is desired. The smaller screws in the product group are of course also suitable for use in traditional structural timber.

ESSVE Wood screw C-PT has a countersunk head with TX-drive. It has a partial thread, directly above the normal thread is a milling thread that eases installation by reducing friction. The screw is intended for indoor use and is made of hardened steel with yellow zinc plating (min. 12 µm), C2.
ESSVE Wood screw C-PT is CE marked thru ETA-22/0789 which permits installation with shorter edge distances than what is given in Eurocode 5.

When installing large screws, it is highly advised to use a screwdriver with a second handle to prevent injury.
